故事大綱：
劇情背景設定在1989年的德克薩斯州的虛構小鎮梅德福，9歲的謝爾頓正要開始他的高中生活並嘗試努力融入周圍的世界，同時他的家人朋友們也正努力適應謝爾頓的高智商與社交困難。
Set in 1989–1990, the series follows Sheldon Cooper at the age of 9 onwards as he attends high school in the fictional town of Medford, Texas, and tries to fit into the world around him while his family and friends attempt to deal with his unique intellectual capabilities and social challenges.

The Story in S1E1
Introduce the family of Sheldon, one brother who is studying in high school and joins the football club. His father is a football coach in the same school too. One litter sister and a Christian mother.

As we know, Sheldon is intelligent and he is not good at making friends. Therefore, on the first day in school, he makes a lot of troubles: keep ratting people out. And his parents get a call from the school.

Also, because of his character, sometimes makes his family members feel frustrated and worried.

在影集中，小謝爾頓很常用一些比較難的單子：Torment（折磨）、Gullible（易受騙的）

有時候會說些蠻有深意的話：

“Go play? If only life were that simple.”

“In a world filled with uncertainty, this place will be here forever.”

*當然也是用來諷刺後面那間店最後破產倒閉了。
